This is a lovely location, a quiet corner of the village and only 20 yards from the shore of the Solway Estuary,where you can walk on the beach, explore the rock pools, venture further afield or just relax in the garden.

Easily reached from Dumfries, the drive takes about 20 minutes along the coast road (A710) through New Abbey and Kirkbean before turning off onto the side road to Southerness.

Continue past the caravan park right down into the old village and just before the lighthouse - and opposite the Paul Jones Hotel - turn right into Oswald Crescent.

At the end, when the road doubles back, you will find Drumelg on the right.
